With just eight games on the slate, the player prop market is a great way to find extra value today.
Let's start with Baltimore Orioles starter Grayson Rodriguez.
Rodriguez was once regarded as the game's top pitching prospect. However, his big league career has been a learning experience. One of the more constant issues for Rodriguez is command, and while he holds a 3.53 ERA this season, his walk rate is alarming.
He ranks in the 32nd percentile in walk rate, which is up 1.4% from last season. That could get him in trouble against a very disciplined Toronto Blue Jays lineup.
The Blue Jays have the eighth-highest walk rate in baseball against right-handed pitching. Plus, G-Rod has walked at least two batters in 67% of his 33 career starts.
That hit rate gives us implied odds of -203.

We are going to stay in the same game, except now we're going offensive.
Gunnar Henderson has become one of the best young players in baseball, and he's in the midst of a breakout campaign.
Henderson is tearing the cover off the ball this season. He ranks in the top 10% of qualified hitters in xWOBA, xSLG, and average exit velocity. He is making loads of hard contact and is doing so from the leadoff spot.
His production from the top of the order makes him a prime candidate to be involved in most of the Orioles' scoring.
Conversely, Toronto starter Kevin Gausman has struggled against left-handed hitters this season, as lefties are hitting .323 off him.
We should see Henderson stuff the stat sheet in this one.

Lastly, we head to Arlington, Texas, where Nathan Eovaldi will pitch against the Detroit Tigers.
The 34-year-old has looked great through eight starts this season, carrying a 2.84 ERA.
A big part of Eovaldi's success has been his ability to generate strikeouts. He's averaging over a strikeout per inning this season and will face a Tigers lineup with the eighth-highest strikeout rate.
On top of the matchup, Eovaldi has proven this total is far too low. He has surpassed it in 67% of his past 58 starts, giving us implied odds of -203.
However, he has also reached six strikeouts in half of those 58 starts as well. So you can ladder him up to 6+ strikeouts on FanDuel if you're looking for more value.
