We got back on track yesterday, pulling off a small sweep. Going 2-0 puts us in a great spot to finish the weekend strong, and I've found a trio of player props to help us do just that.
Let's dive into our top three MLB player props for Sunday, June 2 featuring bets for a trio of starting pitchers on today's slate — Luis Medina, Quinn Priester, and Lance Lynn.

- Lance Lynn Under 5.5 Strikeouts (-130, bet365)
Luis Medina is set to make his first start of the 2024 season, and he's being undervalued in the strikeout market. While he did go 3-10 with a 5.42 ERA and 1.51 WHIP in 2023, Medina proved he has big-league stuff as he averaged nearly a strikeout per inning.
Yes, his stats are not something you want to back going against the Atlanta Braves, but the Braves are not immune to strikeouts. Atlanta comes into this ranked 13th in strikeout rate, and they are tenth in strikeout rate against righties.
Lastly, Medina has proven he can exceed this number. He went over it in 17 of his 23 appearances last season, which gives us an excellent 74% hit rate.

Next, we head north of the border, where Quinn Priester will take the ball for the Pittsburgh Pirates in the series finale against the Toronto Blue Jays. Priester has had all sorts of issues at the big-league level, but his struggles are due to his lack of command.
Priester has made mistakes both in and outside of the strike zone, which has led to a 1.52 WHIP through five starts this season. This afternoon's outing will come against a very disciplined Blue Jays lineup.
The Blue Jays have the fourth-highest walk rate against right-handed pitching. Plus, Priester has given out multiple free passes on nine of his thirteen career starts.
We should expect that trend to continue this afternoon, and we get a great price to boot.
For our last stop this Sunday, we head to Philadelphia, where the Phillies are looking to punctuate their series with the St. Louis Cardinals on Sunday Night Baseball.
They'll have a great opportunity to do so, as Lance Lynn will be taking the ball for the Cardinals. At age 37, Lynn has proven to be a serviceable starter still, but it's no secret that his stuff has diminished over the last three seasons.
Lynn's strikeout rate this season is the second lowest of his career, and the matchup against the Phillies tonight should only make it lower. The Phillies are 23rd in team strikeout rate against righties, and with how hot this lineup has been of late, they are rarely whiffing in general.
Lynn has gone under this total in eight of his eleven starts this season. He is clearly declining, and this is not the matchup where we see him turn back the clock.
