It took awhile for odds to be released on today's White Sox-Athletics Game 3, as neither team announced a starter until late this morning.

It did not, however, take long for those odds to catch the attention of sharp bettors.

Chicago announced it'd be going with Dane Dunning, while the A's will counter with Mike Fiers, and oddsmakers gave a very slight initial edge to Oakland. And even though Fiers and the A's have drawn a small majority of moneyline bets, they no longer hold that edge in the betting market.

There hasn't been a whole lot of time for this game to generate the various signals on our PRO Report (you can find an updated report here), but sharps, well, they work quickly.

Sharp Action

The White Sox' plus-money price is obviously no longer available, and given that they haven't been the popular side thus far, you can usually assume that sharps are behind that sort of move.

To confirm that, two Sports Insights Bet Signals, which track and record instances of market movement caused by professional action, have been triggered on the White Sox moneyline since opening — confirming the pros struck at +105 and again at -105.

As as result, several books, like PointsBet, are now listing the White Sox up in the -110s.
