Max Scherzer Under 14.5 Outs (+145)

There is a value opportunity on Scherzer's pitching outs prop on Saturday against the Orioles.

THE BAT X is projecting him to record 12.84 pitching outs, while oddsmakers are implying 14.01. The model believes there is a 58% chance he records fewer than 15 pitching outs, so there is value on the under at +145.

Pick: Max Scherzer Under 14.5 Outs (+145)

Brit Devine's Phillies vs Nationals Best Bet: Jesus Takes the Wheel

Jesus Luzardo Over 4.5 Strikeouts (-160)

On Opening Day, the Phillies and Nationals combined for 32 strikeouts. I know MacKenzie Gore and Zack Wheeler are good pitchers, but there was a lot of chatter about the shadows in the batters' box playing a pivotal role in the enormous strikeout totals.

It was clear skies and a sunny Opening Day, and it looks like we could see some sun shining yet again on Saturday.

Jesus Luzardo has enough strikeout ability to get this done anyway even against a projected lower strikeout team, but if we see these shadows yet again for even a few innings, it could be a repeat of Opening Day K totals.

Pick: Jesus Luzardo Over 4.5 Strikeouts (-160)

Derek Carty's Giants vs Reds Best Bet: Value on Lodolo

Nick Lodolo Under 1.5 Walks (+155)

There may be some value today on Nick Lodolo's walks allowed prop.

THE BAT X is projecting the Reds starter to record 1.34 walks allowed, and oddsmakers are implying 1.96.

The model believes there is a 61% chance he records fewer than two walks allowed. If you can get the under at +155 or better, there is great value.

Pick: Nick Lodolo Under 1.5 Walks (+155)

Derek Carty's Cubs vs Diamondbacks Best Bet: Pfaadt Under Control
