Shane McClanahan Over 4.5 Strikeouts (-166)

Shane McClanahan was taken out a few weeks ago because of a shoulder impingement in his throwing arm. It seems as if it was no big deal, and I haven't heard that the Rays will have him on a pitch count.
However, the market seems scared of McClanahan. The Jays are heavy favorites today and McClanahan's strikeout total is set at just 4.5.
But he's cashed over 4.5 strikeouts in 88% of his starts this season. He ranks in the 97th percentile in both swinging-strike rate and CSW rate. He's the most dangerous southpaw in the American League.
Plus, McClanahan struck out 10 Blue Jays over just 94 pitches the last time he pitched at Rogers Centre. He posted a 38% CSW rate and forced almost 20 swinging strikes.

The Blue Jays have a dangerous lineup, but they've allowed four of the last six opposing southpaws to cash their strikeout totals.

Our Action Labs Player Props tool projects Dylan Bundy for a whopping 5.5 strikeouts today, making this our biggest pitcher prop edge for Thursday's games.
The Royals are vulnerable right now. Maybe they've mailed it in and are just trying to play out the season and rebuild for next year. But the Royals fanned nine times against Joe Ryan and eight times against Sonny Gray.
Bundy isn't the biggest punch-out pitcher on the planet, but you don't think he can get three strikeouts?
Bundy has struck out three or more in 16 of his 25 games this season. He got the Royals to fan six times in a start in Kansas City last season. His slider still has a 37% whiff rate and he never walks anybody.
