Tuesday's marquee matchup features the best rivalry in sports as the New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox prepare for a showdown at Fenway.

Let's build a Same-Game Parlay.

The Parlay (+1497):

  • Boston Red Sox ML (+136)
  • Rafael Devers to hit a Home Run (+390)
  • Gerrit Cole Over 6.5 Strikeouts (-146)

Same-Game Parlay – Yankees vs. Red Sox

This entire parlay is built around Gerrit Cole, the Yankees ace.

However, how good has Cole been?

If you bet the Yankees ML during every Gerrit Cole start this season, you'd be 17-11. That sounds great until you realize you've lost more than three units in the process.

Cole has been overvalued in the market all season long. He hasn't pitched to his normal level and has been a profitable fade because of it.

One of the best times to fade him is at Fenway Park. Cole has a whopping 5.45 lifetime ERA pitching in Boston, most recently allowing five earned runs over six innings in early July.

Rafael Devers is the biggest reason for Cole's struggles. Devers is 8-for-28 lifetime against Cole with six home runs. He's parked three homers off Cole just this season.

I don't know how Devers golfed this ball over the wall in center, but that's just what he does against Cole.

I'm ready to bet Devers can do it again.

However, while Cole allows plenty of runs at Fenway, he also tends to strike out a lot of Boston hitters. He's posted 12 strikeouts and then seven strikeouts in his last two starts against the Red Sox.

Moreover, Cole has cashed more than 6.5 strikeouts in 17 of his last 25 starts.

Since it's illogical to believe that Cole will strike out seven while allowing a home run in a loss, we can get this Same-Game Parlay on FanDuel Sportsbook at close to 15-to-1.

That's worth a bet.
