  • Although there are still two more NFL games to close out Week 1 tonight, sharps are making their mark on Monday's baseball slate.
  • Brewers-Cubs, Yankees-Twins, and Braves-Giants are among the games that have been hit with the most smart money.

The first NFL Sunday of the season is in the books, and although there are two more Week 1 games tonight, sharps are still keeping a watchful eye on Monday's baseball slate.

Four games, including Brewers-Cubs and Braves-Giants, have drawn action from sharp bettors tonight. Let's take a look.

Milwaukee Brewers @ Chicago Cubs

8:05 p.m. ET

Sharp angle: Under (moved from 8.5 to 8)

Seventy-three percent of bettors are taking the over in this matchup, yet the total has fallen a half-run from its opening number. Sharps hit the under hard at 8.5, causing two steam moves and bringing the total down to 8.

New York Yankees @ Minnesota Twins

8:10 p.m. ET

Sharp angle: Under (moved from 9 to 8.5)

Although not quite as contrarian, this under has also received the minority of bets at 40%. Those bets have accounted for 48% of dollars, however, and a steam move from CRIS has helped bring this total down from 9 to 8.5.

Texas Rangers @ Los Angeles Angels

10:07 p.m. ET

Sharp angle: Rangers (moved from +120 to +117)

Despite only 27% of bettors on Texas, this line has gone its way. The Angels opened at -140 at BookMaker, but are now down to -129 as smart money has come in on the Rangers. Two steam moves on Texas have also contributed to the move.

Atlanta Braves @ San Francisco Giants

10:15 p.m. ET

Sharp angle: Giants (moved from +110 to +108)

In a similar spot, the Giants' line has dropped despite only 29% of bettors backing them tonight, indicating that sharp bettors are among that minority.

Sure enough, sharps at BetOnline triggered a steam move at +110, causing the entire market to reduce this line to its current number.
