The remnants of Tropical Storm Debbie continue to spin some rain and winds across the East Coast. While the “rain” portion of that 1-2 punch isn’t ideal for baseball, the “wind” could be used well.
While the strongest winds will be in New York and blowing across the field (neither in nor out), the winds in Boston for Astros vs Red Sox are nearly as strong and are blowing out to left. With 15 mph sustained winds blowing toward the Green Monster, we can expect a roughly 15% increase in both runs and home runs.
That’s good enough for me to favor the over 9.5 runs scored for HOU @ BOS, my favorite weather bet of the day.

It was dry-ish at first pitch, with increased showers throughout the night. I think the likely outcome is a game played through off-and-on showers, but delays are possible. The wind is out to the left at 15 mph.
Winds out to center-ish at 10-15 mph.
Scattered storms around. Same pattern we've seen the last few nights, late start or delay is possible, but it's likely they manage to play without any major issues.
