There's a full slate of MLB games on Saturday, but our Sports Insights Weather Report shows a host of games with weather risks, including Reds-Cardinals, Yankees-Indians, Athletics-Orioles and Diamondbacks-Braves.
In St. Louis, the 2:15 p.m. ET first pitch between the Reds and Cardinals could be threatened. The current forecast shows possible light rain at 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. with precipitation percentages at 50% or higher. Things clear up in the evening so the game could still be played, but the chance of delay seems high.
In Cleveland, the 6:10 p.m. ET start time between the Yankees and Indians is probably fine, but overcast skies and precipitation forecasts that rise as the evening goes on makes it worth keeping an eye on, at the very least.
Baltimore and Atlanta seem to be in the worst shapes. In Baltimore, the 7:05 p.m. ET first pitch between the Athletics and Orioles is probably fine, but rain should be there by around 9 p.m. and doesn't appear set to let up. The 7:20 p.m. ET first pitch between the Diamondbacks and Braves in Atlanta will have rain already arrived and getting worse as the night goes on. These two games seem to have the highest likelihood of postponement.
