It was the Phillies who won the NL East in the regular season. However, after a 7-2 victory last night, it is the Mets who are one game away from the NLCS.

Jose Iglesias drove in two runs yesterday and he may be in for another big game. Meanwhile, Bryce Harper will look to help the Phillies keep their season alive. These two feature prominently for my Phillies vs Mets player props for Game 4 of the NLDS.

Jose Iglesias comes into today's game hitting just .231 in the postseason. However, he has a hit in five of six games in the postseason. With three runs scored and three runs driven in, he has hit his hits + runs + RBI line in four of his last six games as well.

Tonight, he has a great matchup with Ranger Suarez getting the start for the Phillies.

Iglesias is 6-for-8 (.750) with two doubles against Suarez. He hit .402 with a .999 OPS against left-handed pitching in the regular season. Meanwhile, Suarez did not his finish his stellar season on a high note with a 6.04 ERA in September.

Iglesias has bat second for two games in the postseason, but he has been fifth in the lineup for the last four games. Batting second probably gives him a better chance to score if he is batting in front of Mark Vientos, Pete Alonso and Brandon Nimmo.

However, he may drive one of them in if he is batting fifth. With his track record against Suarez, he may just hit this line with two hits, which is +210 on FanDuel today.

Bryce Harper Player Props: Time For Harper To Put Phillies On His Back

Unlike Iglesias, Harper does not have a matchup in his favor today. He is just 4-for-21 (.190) against Jose Quintana, although two of the hits were a double and home run. Though Quintana is one left-hander that gives Harper trouble, the Phillies slugger hit .303 against left-handers in the regular season.

However, the main reason I like Harper today is because the Phillies find their backs against the wall.

Harper has been one of the most clutch players in the history of the sport. Among players with 150 plate appearances, Harper's 1.013 OPS ranks third all time behind Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig. I'd say that's pretty good company.

After the Phillies dropped Game 1 and fell behind 3-0 in Game 2, Harper sparked the rally with a 2-run shot in the sixth inning and the Phillies went on to win 7-6.

In addition to the homer, he also doubled in Game 1 and he has hit this line in two of the first three games.

Whether it is against Quintana or a Mets reliever, I expect Harper to come big when his team needs him the most and collect at least two total bases.
