Rangers vs Cubs Predictions, Parlay Betting Analysis

The Chicago Cubs will host the Texas Rangers on Tuesday night at Wrigley Field.

The Cubs won game one of the series, 7-0. Southpaw pitcher Justin Steele delivered his best outing of the early season, as Chicago took advantage of a five-run sixth inning to pull away and earn the win.

The win improved the Cubs record to 8-5. Chicago has won eight of its past 11 matchups and leads the NL Central by 1.5 games.

Former All-Star Kyle Tucker leads the team, batting .327 with five home runs and 16 RBI. Ian Happ is also off to a solid start this season, with one home run and eight RBI. Seiya Suzuki has added four home runs and 12 RBIs.

Veteran Jameson Taillon will toe the rubber tonight. Taillon is 1-1 with a 6.97 ERA.

Texas rolls into the contest with an 8-3 record, enough to lead the AL West.

After winning the World Series in 2023, the Rangers failed to reach the postseason last year. However, they are off to an encouraging start this season.

Texas is 6-1 at home this season and has posted a 2-2 record on the road. The Rangers hold a modest one-game lead in the American League West.

Wyatt Langford leads the Rangers with three home runs and five RBI. Shortstop Corey Seager is off to a slow start this season, batting .161 with one home run and one RBI. Adolis Garcia has added two home runs and four RBI.

Southpaw Patrick Corbin will make his first start of the season tonight.

Rangers vs Cubs Parlay

Leg 1: Texas Rangers ML

We are getting great value on the road team tonight. Taillon shouldn't be priced as a -162 favorite, especially given how he has thrown the ball this season. Texas will give Corbin run support and an opportunity to win tonight.

Corey Seager Over 1.5 Total Bases

Seager struggled early, but is in a great position to break out of his slump tonight. The former World Series MVP is 4-for-11 in his career against Taillon, with two extra-base hits. Seager will come through and exceed this number tonight.

Justin Turner 1+ Hit

The veteran is in a dream scenario tonight. Turner has crushed Corbin over a large sample size, batting .378 with 17 hits over 45 at-bats against Corbin.
