The Cubs are flying high following a dramatic walk-off win courtesy of a pinch-hit single from Javier Báez on Monday night. Chicago knocked off the Reds 6-5 in Wrigley Field, winning the first game of a four-game series and improving their great home record and their Against The Spread (ATS) home record.
Cincinnati has been solid on the road, with a near-.500 record away from the Great American Ball Park. The Reds have been able to produce runs at a solid rate this season and will come into Tuesday with some confidence facing Cubs starter Adbert Alzolay, who has given up at least three earned runs in four of his last five starts.
That being said, Alzolay wasn't awful in his last start against Cincinnati. On July 3, Alzolay pitched seven innings, posting six strikeouts and one walk while giving up three earned runs in a 3-2 loss.
The Action Network's projections certainly expect Tuesday's game to be higher scoring than Alzolay's last outing against the Reds, yet the total is still providing intriguing value. Let's take a look in our latest PRO Report.
