5 Most Popular Bets for Saturday MLB

*Odds and public betting trends data as of Saturday afternoon. Find real-time MLB odds here.

1. Padres (-250) vs. Pirates

10:10 p.m. ET

San Diego's the hottest side Saturday, attracting 92% of the tickets against lowly Pittsburgh, the most of any moneyline (you can see all the public betting data here).

The Padres trot out Joe Musgrove, who's yet to take a loss this season. He owns a 5-0 win-loss record over eight starts, while San Diego's 8-0.

2. Dodgers (-180) vs. Diamondbacks

7:15 p.m. ET

The Dodgers took down the Diamondbacks in Friday's series opener, giving L.A. six straight wins over Arizona.

Naturally, the public's going back to the well. We've logged 84% of the bets on the favorite behind Tony Gonsolin, who's 4-0 and hasn't allowed more than three runs in any start this season.

3. Giants (-180) vs. Reds

4:10 p.m. ET

Another expensive road favorite pulling in a lopsided ticket count is San Francisco, which laid a dud in Friday's 5-1 loss to Cincinnati.

The Giants are the third most-bet side of the evening, with 83% of moneyline tickets.

4. Guardians (-160) vs. Tigers

4:10 p.m. ET

It's more road chalk for the public, though we'll turn to the American League.

Cleveland's generating eight of every 10 bets behind ace Shane Bieber, who fanned 10 Tigers hitters over seven frames in his most recent outing.

5. White Sox (-140) vs. Cubs

7:15 p.m. ET

The fifth and final popular side's another AL favorite in the White Sox, who meet the in-state rival Cubs for their second series of the season.

The White Sox took the first two tilts earlier in the year and are producing 72% of the ticket count at the time of writing for Saturday's clash.
