Game 1 of the NBA Finals is getting flat-out peppered with action.

With more than 40,000 tickets and counting, Celtics vs. Warriors is generating nearly three times as many wagers as the next-closest game Thursday, in any sport.

And a majority of bettors are siding with the chalk.

We've logged 76% of both the spread (-3.5) and moneyline (-165) tickets on the Warriors, who are 20-2 straight up in Game 1s under head coach Steve Kerr (you can check out all the public betting data here).

2. Oilers vs. Avalanche

4:05 p.m. ET

The Oilers and Avalanche combined for 14 goals in the Western Conference Finals opener, resulting in the highest NHL playoff total we've ever seen for Thursday's Game 2.

Bettors aren't fazed by the big number, either. We've tracked three of every four bets on the over of seven.

3. Nationals vs. Reds

Nationals vs. Reds is the most attractive game on the diamond from the public's standpoint.

The NL clash is one of just two pulling a five-figure ticket count – and so far the money is riding on the favorite.

Cincinnati's getting precisely 70% of the near-12,000 bets on the moneyline, at a consensus price of -135

5. Cardinals vs. Cubs

8:05 p.m. ET

The fifth-most popular bet on Thursday is another tilt in the National League, this time between the Cardinals and Cubs.

We've recorded 65% of the moneyline bets on the Cardinals, who have taken five straight at Wrigley Field.
