The Chicago White Sox and Toronto Blue Jays start a series at the Rogers Centre in Toronto tonight.

Lance Lynn is set to take the mound for Chicago, while Toronto will counter with Chris Bassitt.

There are a pair of home runprops I'm targeting for this specific matchup tonight, which I'll detail below.

Home Run Props for White Sox vs. Blue Jays

Matt Chapman To Hit Home Run (+475)
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. To Hit Home Run (+500)

Odds via bet365

Lynn takes the mound for the White Sox tonight and he has been particularly home run-prone this season. In four starts so far in 2023, he has given up six home runs, including three in his two road starts.

Lynn's flyball rate is up to 65% in 2023, when it was an already high 57% in 2022. His home run rate has increased in each season since he joined the White Sox. It went up 3.1% in 2021, another 3.9% in 2022, and 6.5% so far in 2023.

Lynn has started three games at Rogers Centre in his career and has given up at least one home run in each of them.

Guerrero just finished up a six-game road trip incredible hot. In Houston and New York, he combined for three home runs and five extra-base hits.

Guerrero and Chapman are co-leaders on the Blue Jays in the early going with five home runs each. Guerrero hit 13 home runs combined in April of 2021 and April of 2022, the most of any Blue Jays hitter.

Chapman, meanwhile, looks to continue his hot start as he currently leads the majors in barrel rate, while Guerrero ranks a still-strong 35th. In 17 career at-bats against Lynn, Chapman has two home runs.

Athough he has yet to go yard at home this season, Guerrero has crushed pitching at Rogers Centre throughout his career, with 62% of his home runs the last two seasons coming at home, and 81% of those home runs have come against right-handed pitching.

Shopping around at various books, Guerrero's home run odds are as low as +300, while Chapman's odds are as low as +350, so there's great value at bet365 at +475 and +500, respectively.
