The 2018 World Series gets underway on Tuesday (8:09 p.m. ET on FOX) as Clayton Kershaw and the Los Angeles Dodgers take on Chris Sale and the Boston Red Sox.

Not only are Kershaw and Sale the respective Game 1 starters, but they're also tied at 9-1 to earn World Series MVP honors. Boston's J.D. Martinez and Mookie Betts join the two aces atop the list at 9-1.

Manny Machado (12-1) is Los Angeles' position player mostly likely to win the award. Boston's scheduled Game 2 starter David Price joins Machado at 12-1.

Here's the full list of World Series MVP odds:

Sale is an interesting favorite considering he's suffering from a handful of nagging injuries, one of which is apparently related to an infected belly button ring.

With the Red Sox favored to win the World Series, Boston's Andrew Benintendi and Xander Bogaerts make interesting value options at 25-1 each.
