Yankees World Series Odds

+225 to win World Series

Juan Soto and Aaron Judge powered the Yankees to another AL East crown.

Soto finished with 41 home runs, 109 RBIs, 122 runs and a .288 batting average, while Judge clubbed a league-leading 58 home runs and hit .322 with 144 RBIs and 122 runs.

However, detractors say the rest of the Yanks' lineup is a tad too inconsistent even though they led MLB in home runs.

Meanwhile, their rotation is headlined by Gerrit Cole, Carlos Rodon and Luis Gil. The rest of the pitching staff could make or break New York's postseason.

Dodgers World Series Odds

+425 to win World Series

The star-laden Dodgers enter the postseason behind Shohei Ohtani’s season for the ages.

He became the first member of the 50/50 club, finishing with 54 home runs and 59 steals. Los Angeles has a murderer’s row of hitters leading off the lineup with Ohtani, Mookie Betts, Freddie Freeman and Teoscar Hernadez.

Their starting pitching, however, has dealt with injuries all year long. The staff is headed by Jack Flaherty and Yoshinobu Yamamoto.

Phillies World Series Odds

+450 to win World Series

The 2022 National League champions look to return to the World Series. They have the highest ticket percentage (10.7% of bets) and handle percentage (14.7% of money) at BetMGM.

They boast one of the top one-two punches at the top of the rotation with Zach Wheeler and Aaron Nola. Meanwhile, their lineup is as deep as anyone’s, headlined by Kyle Schwarber, Trea Turner, Bryce Harper, Nick Castellanos and J.T. Realmuto.

Padres World Series Odds

+500 to win World Series

The Padres surged down the stretch and finished tied for the fourth-best record in MLB. Entering the NLDS, they have the fourth-shortest odds to win the World Series after a sweep in their Wild Card series against the Braves. They are the second-biggest liability to win the World Series for BetMGM.

Their loaded lineup includes Fernando Tatis Jr, Manny Machado and Rookie of the Year frontrunner Jackson Merrill.

They have a deep rotation fronted by Dylan Cease, Michael King and Joe Musgrove along with what’s considered the best bullpen after acquiring several top-end arms at the trade deadline.

Guardians World Series Odds

+800 to win World Series

Cleveland’s lineup is led by third-baseman Jose Ramirez, but the team ranked in the middle of the pack in virtually every hitting category.

The Guardians' pitching has been their strength as they finished with the fourth-best ERA in MLB at 3.61. They boast a lights-out bullpen headlined by Emmanuel Clase, who’s 57 saves were the most in the American League.

Tigers World Series Odds

+1800 to win World Series

No team enters the postseason hotter than the Tigers, who won 33 of their last 46 games to clinch a spot in the ALDS for the first time since 2014.

They entered the postseason with +3000 odds to win the World Series and were the third-biggest World Series liability for BetMGM. Now they carry that momentum into a ALDS series with the Guardians.

Royals World Series Odds

+1800 to win World Series

Kansas City’s lineup isn’t considered as deep as other playoff contenders, but it’s led by phenom Bobby Witt Jr., who probably would've been AL MVP if it weren't for Aaron Judge.

The Royals eked out two narrow victories against the Orioles and pulled off a stunning sweep in their AL Wild Card series, an outcome that had +410 odds entering Game 1.

Mets World Series Odds

+1000 to win World Series

The Mets were left for dead after the first two-plus months of the season as they were 11 games under .500. However, they’ve been arguably baseball’s hottest team ever since.

In the span of five days, the Mets have played two of the most memorable games with their backs against the wall and an opportunity to advance. Their World Series odds have moved from +3500 before their end of season doubleheader to +1200 entering the NLDS.
