The Los Angeles Dodgers have outclassed the New York Yankees in this year’s Fall Classic, and now they’re one win away from becoming just the 22nd team in MLB history to sweep the World Series.

This highly anticipated matchup between the league’s top two teams was supposed to be a close affair. Los Angeles was a narrow favorite to win at -125, while the Yankees were +105. However, it hasn’t been much of a fight, with the Dodgers on the verge of winning their eighth World Series title. Los Angeles won it all in the 2020 Covid-shortened season, but before that, it hadn’t won a championship since 1988.

So, what are the odds that LA ends it in four?

Well, oddsmakers like New York’s chances to live another day. They’re -130 to win, while the Dodgers are +110. Los Angeles is +1.5 on the run line with a -180 vig, while New York is -1.5 at +150. The Dodgers are expected to go with a bullpen game while Luis Gil takes the bump for the Yankees.

Overall, World Series MVP frontrunner Freddie Freeman and the Dodgers are massive favorites to win the title even if they don’t pull off the sweep.  They’re -2500, while the Yankees are +1300 as they attempt the greatest comeback in history.
