Celtics vs. Wizards Odds & Betting Predictions - October 30, 2023

Here’s how I view Tyus after two games: he’s played 28 mins in each, one being a blowout loss, and one being a win. He’s probably a 28-30 min player on this team in non-blowouts. He had 25 PRA vs the Pacers (great matchup), and 23 vs the Grizzlies (probably a slightly below average matchup right now) - including some outlier 3P shooting (6/12 so far). The Celtics are an awful matchup with their guard defense. And Jones is not a volume scorer, very reliant on assists - and this is also a terrible individual matchup for the pretty much all of the Wiz. And the Celtics don’t play particularly fast either. I’m not extrapolating from just two games, but I just don’t love the outlook in general for Jones on a team where the volume shooters, Kuzma and Poole, both have low assisted shot rates (unlike in MEM when he had Bane and JJJ).
