Rui Hachimura has been averaging 26.0 PRA over his last two games, which came against favorable opponents for his playstyle. He also saw 32+ minutes per game, filling in with two key players (AD and Dorian) out. Since Dorian’s arrival, Rui has been most affected by his playing time, logging just 9.2 minutes per game when Dorian is on the court. Over a six-game sample, the Lakers perform better with Dorian on the floor, boasting a +4.5 net rating compared to Rui’s -8.0 net rating. Before Dorian’s two-game absence, Rui’s PRA line was set at 14.5-15.5 for three straight games. In his last two games, Rui has seen 32-33 minutes, but tonight I expect his playing time to regress to around 30 minutes. In games where he plays alongside LeBron, AD, and Reaves, Rui averages just 14.5 PRA, going under in 9 of 11 games.
