Cade Cunningham is healthy and the Heat are horrible as big chalk - 0-10-1 ATS the last 11 times laying more than five points.

A lot of questions with this pistons rotation right now - Ivey being one of them. He came off the bench for 3/4 preseason games, only starting in the last game, when Killian Hayes came off the bench. Monty has been preaching defense this off-season, and consistently singing Hayes’ praise. Even if Ivey starts, it’s a gross matchup. Ivey is at his best in transition or in the PnR, both of which the Heat are traditionally excellent at taking away (usually don’t love trusting team defenses to play well in game 1, but this is a Heat core that’s been together for a while). Averaged 16.3 ppg last season, but basically without Cade. Bojan will be out, but the trade off with Cade should still hurt Ivey, because Cade’s presence forces Ivey off ball. Likely means more jumpers for Ivey, and he only shot 36% on jumpers last season (and looked bad this preseason). I’m ok with this for a half unit at u16.5. I have him at 14 pts - but keep in mind that’s me making some assumptions on the unknown with rotation and minutes for a young team with a new coach. However, even with more volume than I’d expect, the matchup could still hold him under.
