Playoffs? Yes, playoffs. NBA training camps are just getting underway and while players don't want to look too far into their future before the season starts, it's never too early for bettors to look ahead to the postseason.
Just like with NBA title odds and win totals, there are some familiar names at the top of the board to make the NBA Playoffs. But with only six spots guaranteed in each conference, there will be heated competition for the four play-in spots in the East and West.

The Clippers, Suns, Warriors, Grizzlies Mavericks and Nuggets are heavily favored to make the playoffs and grab the top six spots in the Western Conference. Then there's a big drop off to the next tier, which includes the Timberwolves, Lakers and Pelicans at minus odds.
The Trail Blazers are 10th among the teams out West in terms of playoff odds, but are the favorites to make the Play-In tournament. The race for spots seven through 10 in the West could shape up to be the most interesting one to watch down the stretch.
The Eastern Conference races should also be competitive. The Celtics, Bucks, Nets, 76ers and Heat are all heavy favorites to make the playoffs. The Cavaliers, Hawks, Raptors and Bulls round out the nine teams with minus odds.
Then there's the Knicks and Hornets. The former finished last season just outside of the Play-In while the Hornets were drubbed in the No. 9 vs. No. 10 matchup. The Knicks should have after adding some talent in free agency, but the Wizards, who are +340 to make the playoffs and +170 to make the play-in aren't out of the conversation either.
