We're nearly one week into the NBA Playoffs and each team has played at least two games. So there's no better time to look at where the latest NBA championships odds stand entering Friday's slate of games.
The Boston Celtics and Denver Nuggets are still the favorites in each conference with the Celtics edging out the Nuggets as the favorite to win the NBA title. However, there has been significant movement across the odds board since the start of the postseason with supposed contenders now trailing in their series and expected underdogs surging early in their respective series.
Here's a look at the updated 2024 NBA championship odds and the most notable movers.

The New York Knicks have been the biggest positive mover on the board going from 40-1 to win the NBA title to 17-1. They lead their series against the Philadelphia 76ers after two impressive home wins in the first two games of the series. If the Knicks advance in the series, they would face the winner Milwaukee Bucks vs Indiana Pacers, and avoid a potential matchup with the Celtics until the Eastern Conference finals.
The other notable teams that have moved up are the Oklahoma City Thunder and Minnesota Timberwolves. The Thunder went from 16-1 to 12-1 while the Wolves improved from 20-1 to 16-1 through two games in their respective series.
On the other side of that coin, several teams saw a negative drop in their odds to win the championship. Both the Los Angeles Clippers and Milwaukee Bucks have seen a huge negative drop after being considered series contenders entering the postseason. In both cases, the best player for the Clippers (Kawhi Leonard) and the Bucks (Giannis Antetokounmpo) wasn't available to play Game 1. In Bucks' case, there's is uncertainty about when exactly Antetokounmpo will return from his calf injury.
The 76ers also stand out among that group. When series odds for Knicks vs 76ers opened, the Sixers were the favorite and had 14-1 odds to win the championship. After three games and several Joel Embiid health scares, the 76ers are 30-1 to win the championship.
The Suns are the most extreme case of a team falling way off the contender radar. The Suns were 18-1 to win the NBA title entering the playoffs and have dipped to 80-1 after two losses in Minnesota. They also had the third-most betting tickets (8.8%) of any playoff team ahead of Game 1.
