NBA free agency officially started at 6 p.m. ET on Sunday evening, and we're tracking every major signing, odds on player markets and rumors swirling during what figures to be a busy few days. While players were able to negotiate with and agree to deals with their current teams already, as of Sunday, everyone is able to talk to everyone.
Paul George heading to Philadelphia and Klay Thompson joining Dallas were two of the biggest dominoes to fall. There's still plenty of player news yet to come – including LeBron James' new contract and who might join him in Los Angeles – and you can keep tabs on it all with our free agency tracker.
Tatum Gets PAID
It's sure good to be Jayson Tatum. Not only did the Celtics star win the NBA title a few months ago, but he just agreed to a massive contract extension that's the largest in league history.
Dallas Wins Klay Thompson Sweepstakes
It was a given that Klay Thompson was leaving Golden State. The question was which superstar he'd leave Steph Curry for with Lebron James and Luka Doncic leading the way. Well, we officially have our answer as he's heading to Big D.
Hartenstein to OKC
And that's a whooooooole lot of money. Good for I-Hart.
Jalen Smith to the Bulls
Paul George Heads to Philadelphia
Just as we all expected! In the wee hours of Monday morning, Woj reported that PG had agreed to a four-year deal with the 76ers.

Thunder Keep Bringing on Assets
Clippers Adding Jones Jr.
The big news for the Clippers on the first day of free agency was Paul George letting them know he'll be signing with a different team. While he won't make up for the loss of a George, Los Angeles did make one addition shortly before midnight, striking a deal with former Maverick Derrick Jones Jr.
LeBron Courting Klay
Klay Thompson's expected to leave Golden State, but we might have to wait a bit before finding out his next destination. ESPN reported that LeBron James – who himself is a free agent but virtually a lock to return to the Lakers – is trying to woo Thompson to Los Angeles.
CP3 to San Antonio
It didn't take long for Chris Paul to find a new home. The future Hall of Famer was cut by Golden State an hour before free agency began, and less than three hours later, found a new home in San Antonio.
Paul George Leaving Clippers; Heading to 76ers?
The Clippers were the betting favorite to bring back Paul George after he opted out of his contract. However, that apparently won't be the case as the two sides decided it was time to part ways. George was set to meet with several teams, but early reports he might be destined for Philadelphia.
KCP Ditches Denver for Orlando
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope – who won titles with the Nuggets in 2023 and and Lakers in 2020 – is leaving Denver after a two-year stint and heading to Orlando.
76ers Adding Drummond to Back Up Embiid
While we all wait for the big fish to sign, the 76ers made a smaller but notable move as they're reportedly inking Andre Drummond to back up Joel Embiid. The big question now is if they'll manage to add either Klay Thompson or Paul George as Philly's been linked to both stars.
How Much Might LeBron Leave on Table?
LeBron James opted out of his contract, but it would be shocking if he left Los Angeles after the team drafted his son, Bronny. The big question is what LeBron's contract will look like…and according to ESPN, he might be willing to take a massive pay cut.
Bye-Bye Klay?
The Warriors are reportedly expecting Klay Thompson to move on, ending an epic 13 year run in Golden State. Some speculate he might head to the Lakers, where his father Mychal played for five seasons. The Clippers, Mavericks and 76ers are also expected to seek out his services.
