Here we go again. LeBron James has once against carried his team to the NBA Finals and, according to series odds, is expected to get throttled by the Golden State Warriors.
With LeBron's less-than-stellar supporting cast, the biggest offseason storyline will once again revolve around James and whether he'll take his talents elsewhere.
Back in February, the Cavaliers were favored to retain King James at +300, followed by the Houston Rockets (+350) and Los Angeles Lakers (+500).
However, following a promising playoff run, the Philadelphia 76ers have jumped from +1000 to +150 to become the new favorite. Here's a look at the full list of betting odds:
Despite being leapfrogged by Philadelphia, Cleveland's odds have actually increased from +300 to +175 to retain its hometown star.
The odds that LeBron ends up in Houston have improved following the Rockets' run to Game 7 of the Western Conference Finals, while the Lakers have slightly dropped from +500 in February.
With the Cavs having very little in terms of assets, it's tough to envision much of a future for LeBron in Cleveland, especially if the Warriors do what they're expected to do in the NBA Finals.
