First off, I am going to take the 4-39 team laying points over a 10-31 team.
The Pistons have covered five straight games and played the Bucks tight in two games. This is the first time the Pistons will play with nobody on their injury report as they get Cade Cunningham back.
The Hornets are coming off a big win over the Timberwolves in the "KAT" game after he shot them off the floor. I expect the Hornets to take it easy — the Pistons will cover this one at the house.

Mavericks +2.5 vs. Suns

Jay started buying Phoenix while they were low, but I believe they are valued properly now. The spread doesn't tell you the true value but it does tell you the market expectation.
While the Suns have won six in a row, they have only covered in two of those games.
The Mavericks have been dealing with injuries and are coming off two marquee matchup losses against the Lakers and the Celtics. Now they have another big game, this time at home.
I like the Mavs as a short underdog, not only to cover the spread, but to win this outright.
