It's time for another night of outstanding NBA basketball — and the best NBA bets tonight and our predictions for Thursrday, October 26.
The NBA season continues with a double-header on TNT tonight as the Milwaukee Bucks debut their new backcourt superstar in Damian Lillard against the 76ers, followed by the Lakers and Suns clashing in a Western Conference showdown between two contenders who have questions this season.
Let's get to the bets and predictions, courtesy of our "Buckets" NBA podcast betting experts.
Tyrese Maxey o21.5 Points at Bucks
7:30 p.m. ET ⋅ TNT
By Sean Little
I am high on Tyrese Maxey heading into this season especially with the James Harden situation unfolding how it is.
I don't know who will check him for the Bucks on the defensive end, and I am confident in his jump shooting ability as the Bucks generally clog the paint. The Bucks have some new additions, mainly Damian Lillard, so I expect the defensive rotations to take some time getting sorted out.
Lakers +1Q -1.5 vs. Suns
10:00 p.m. ET ⋅ TNT
By Jay Money
I like the Lakers in a bounce back spot in their home opener against the Suns tonight. When the Lakers play well, it generally begins with a solid first quarter and I expect Anthony Davis to come out with a fire after finishing with 0 points in the second half on Tuesday.
Lakers +1H -3 vs. Suns
10:00 p.m. ET ⋅ TNT
I agree with Jay Money in the sense that this is a bounce back spot for the Lakers in game 2 of the season. The reason I am on first half as opposed to the whole game is because I don't know if I can trust the Lakers in a late game situation just yet.
Anthony Davis should have a good performance in the first half like he did against the Nuggets on opening night.
Rui Hachimura o3.5 rebounds vs. Suns
10:00 p.m. ET ⋅ TNT
Because of the limits restriction for LeBron James, I think Hachimura will get a lot of playing time not only tonight but all season long. He is an active player who should have no problem accruing 4+ rebounds tonight.
