Bucks vs. Heat Preview

This is nearly a pick'em line, but no surprise, this tilts toward Milwaukee. Still, if you like the Bucks, you can bet them on the moneyline with a fair, if not unreasonable, amount of juice depending on the book.

To me, this is a moneyline spot for the Heat if you like Miami, but if you like Milwaukee, you could live with -2. Milwaukee has covered eight of 12 games coming into tonight, while Miami has covered in nine straight games. Nine.

Miami's lengthy losing streak was followed by six straight wins before a last-second loss to Memphis. The Bucks, without Damian Lillard, are 4-4 in their last eight, but they come into this game having won two straight against Phoenix and Philly.

Staying away from the total here. Milwaukee has played to five straight Overs after hitting five straight Unders. Miami has played to Unders in five of eight in their recent turnaround.

The Under would generally be of interest in a Heat-Bucks game, and I don't hate the look here, but under 214 doesn't offer a ton of cushion, even if it's still attainable.

I'm playing the Heat +0.5 in the first quarter on ESPN Bet at -120. The Heat have won four straight first quarters and eight of their last 10. This projects to be close, and the Heat's problem isn't starting, it's closing.

Bucks vs. Heat Best Bet

  • Heat 1st Quarter +0.5 (-115)
