The Bucks and Nets face off in Brooklyn for Game 2 of the most anticipated postseason series in the Eastern Conference. In Game 1, the Nets were hit with adversity right away.
James Harden exited the game less than a minute into the action, re-aggravating an existing hamstring injury.
Despite Harden's absence, Brooklyn still received a dominant effort from the duo of Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant as the two combined for 54 points in the eight-point win.
But the story of Game 1 was the contributions that Nets head coach Steve Nash received from veteran Blake Griffin.
Griffin poured in 18 points in 35 minutes, a much more impressive showing than his modest regular season numbers would indicate.
There is no telling if Griffin will play that well offensively throughout this series. Something we do know, however, is that Harden's 24.6 points and 10.8 assists per game will be missing from Brooklyn's lineup.
Irving and Durant can pick up the slack in Harden's absence, but Milwaukee will surely adjust its defense (to some degree) to account for the change.
Does this mean that the lack of Harden and more defensive adjustments will result in a lower-scoring Game 2? Or should bettors still expect offensive fireworks?
Let's take a look in our latest PRO Report.
