One of the biggest surprises of the first round of the NBA Draft was Jaylon Tyson getting selected by the Cleveland Cavaliers with the 20th overall pick.

Tyson's stock has climbed throughout the draft process, but he wasn't expected to go in the top 20 picks. In fact, sportsbooks had him as a long shot to go that early in the draft.
The former California Golden Bear was +1800 to go in the top 20, according to DraftKings. Most experts had pegged Tyson to go in the first round, but not as early as the top 20 picks.
Tyson led Cal with 19.6 points per game. He also averaged 6.8 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game during his junior season.

Tyson started his college career with Texas, where he played sparingly during his freshman season. He then transferred to Texas Tech for his sophomore season, where he averaged 10.7 points and 6.1 rebounds per game before finishing his college career at Cal.
He now joins a Cavaliers team that advanced into the second round of the playoffs this past season.
