Cleveland Cavaliers vs Indiana Pacers NBA Preview
The first half of tonight's TNT doubleheader showcases two teams that have already solidified their playoff spots. The Cavaliers are the 1-seed in the East, and the Pacers are the 4-seed. So tonight, we’re gonna focus on some role players for the Cavs in an opportunity to get some extra minutes.
First off, De'Andre Hunter to score 17+ points and Ty Jerome to have 5+ assists. I expect Jerome to either start or play an ample amount of minutes tonight, as there is no need for Darius Garland to play much in this spot.
In games where Jerome plays 25+ minutes, he crushes this line. The Pacers also play at an extremely fast pace, which will only help Jerome get the ball in his hands more frequently.
We will be looking for him to pass to Hunter tonight. Hunter has looked to return to more of a 6th-man role as of late, but his minutes should see a slight uptick in this spot as well.
He’s covered this line in two of his last three outings, and if the likes of Mitchell/Mobley sit out tonight for the Cavaliers, Hunter's opportunities should only rise.
On the other end of things, we are looking at Pascal Siakam to go over his rebounds + assists line for the Pacers. Siakam has gone over this number in two straight games, and should continue to have high upside in the rebounding department.
