A dominant first half for the Boston Celtics took a somber turn when Kristaps Porzingis suffered an apparent leg injury with just over two minutes to go before halftime.
Porzingis took a pass from Jaylen Brown, dribbled once and pulled up lame favoring his right foot. He immediately pointed to the bench to be subbed out while play went on. Porzingis eventually hobbled into the locker room pulling his jersey over his head.
The Celtics said Porzingis is doubtful to return to Game 4 with calf tightness. ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported that the Celtics center will be evaluated Tuesday and the belief at the moment is this isn't an Achilles injury.
