The Celtics already ruled out Jaylen Brown for this game which should open up more opportunities for Derrick White. White sees his scoring jump from 22.3 points per 100 to 28.9 when Brown is sidelined, and his assists increase a touch from 6.3 to 6.6 per 100.
The primary difference though is his usage climbs from 17.2 to 26.1, per pbpstats. That is the second largest swing of the Celtics’ core players (Jayson Tatum) without Brown on the floor.

Boston has an extremely deep roster. The Celtics are still strong even when resting star players, which could be the case here with the team's upcoming schedule of playing the Trail Blazers in Portland on Sunday and the Kings in Sacramento on Monday.
So, the backdoor may swing open for the Jazz if Boston builds an early huge advantage.
