Chicago Bulls vs Indiana Pacers NBA Sunday Preview

By Allan Lem

This stood out to me given Haliburton has only averaged 3.5 rebounds per game this season, so this is a full rebound above his season average. It makes sense that the opening projection would be at 4.5, however, the Bulls have allowed the 2nd-most rebounds per game to opponents (47.1). They will also be without Ayo Dosunmu and Nikola Vucevic.

Still, Haliburton has only averaged those 3.5 rebounds on just 5.5 rebound chances per game. RotoGrinders' CourtIQ does show Haliburton gets a slight bump in his rebound rates with Bennedict Mathurin out, so I do think 4.5 rebounds as an opening projection makes sense given the plus matchup.

If you're into recent trends, Haliburton averaged just 2.8 rebounds per game over 5 rebound chances per game in the month of February, which are both lower than his season averages. Again, it's not a great matchup, but I'm playing lower than 4.5 rebounds, hoping he sees close to his season average of 5.5 rebound chances and doesn't convert on 5 of them.

Best Bet: Tyrese Haliburton Under 4.5 Rebounds (-135)

Bulls vs Pacers Parlay Picks

By Kyle Murray

I backed Myles Turner on a rebound prop three games ago, and he absolutely flopped, only grabbing 2 boards. He followed that up with a massive 10-rebound performance (and then followed that up with only 3 rebounds last game).

So I am seeking revenge and fading Myles Turner in this spot.

The Pacers are 10-point favorites, so Turner could lose out on some minutes down the stretch with a blowout potentially in play, but even if he gets his full allotment of minutes, he projects for just 6.5 rebounds.

Pick: Myles Turner Under 7.5 Rebounds (-125)
