The Los Angeles Clippers (31-25) and Detroit Pistons (31-26) will meet in the NBA tonight. Tipoff is set for 7:00 p.m. ET at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan. The game will broadcast live on NBA League Pass.

The Clippers are 2.5-point favorites over the Pistons on the spread (Clippers -2.5), with the over/under set at 223 total points. Los Angeles is a -142 favorite to win outright, while Detroit is +120 to pull off the upset.

Let's get into my Clippers vs. Pistons predictions and NBA picks for Monday, February 24.

Clippers vs. Pistons Picks, Prediction

Spread

The spread was basically a pick'em, but the Clippers have moved from -1 to nearly -3.

Detroit is 5-3-2 against the spread with no rest, while the Clippers are 4-7 ATS in this spot.

The Pistons are also 14-14-2 ATS after a win, and they're coming off a high-scoring victory against the Hawks last night, where we finished 148-143 in regulation.

The Clippers went down 129-111 against the Pacers. They're 13-11 ATS after a loss.

As a road favorite, the Clippers are 4-7 ATS, while the Pistons are 9-6-1 as a home 'dog. This feels like it should be a fade-the-public spot, which would lean toward the Pistons.

Moneyline

Kawhi Leonard sat last night, but his status for Monday is undetermined for now. In 16 games with Leonard, the Clippers are 10-6 straight up.

Additionally, Ben Simmons is out, and Norman Powell, who also sat on Sunday, is questionable.

Simone Fontecchio left Sunday's game with an injury, so he's questionable for Monday as of now. Jaden Ivey remains out, though he's out of a walking boot.

This isn't a Pistons or nothing game. But if you like Detroit ATS, you might as well take them to win outright.

If you like the Clippers, you might as well take them by a possession ATS.

As much as this shapes to be a Pistons spot, there's a Clippers bounce-back piece in play with Leonard and Powell potentially returning, so I'm passing.

Over/Under

I liked the under at 226. It's down to 223, so that's a bit too far gone at this point.

My Pick: James Harden Double-Double (+100)

Clippers vs. Pistons Preview

I'll take James Harden to get a double-double on DraftKings at +100.

Harden has recorded 11 double-doubles in 16 games with Leonard this season.

Assuming he plays after sitting last night, we may see Harden continue this trend. He has double-doubles in 12 of his last 18 games.

This number probably shouldn't be plus-money, so I'll have a shot at it, even if this could be a lower-scoring game than either team was involved with less than 24 hours ago.

Best Bet: James Harden Double-Double (+100)
