The Los Angeles Clippers (6-4) visit the Oklahoma City Thunder (8-2) in a game set to tip off at 8:00 p.m. ET from the Paycom Center in OKC. The game will be broadcast on NBA TV.

The Thunder are 6.5-point home favorites over the Clippers on the spread (Thunder -6.5), with the over/under at 218.5 points. The Thunder are -275 favorites on the moneyline to win outright, while Los Angeles is +220 to pull off the upset.

Let's dive into my Clippers vs. Thunder predictions and my NBA picks tonight.

Clippers vs. Thunder Prediction, Picks

Moneyline

This is a Clippers or nothing spot if you're even thinking moneyline. The Thunder are still big favorites without Chet Holmgren, who will be out for at least two months. The Clippers have the day rest advantage over OKC, who lost their second or third-best player last night and would be on the second end of a back-to-back, but I won't definitively say the Clippers will absolutely win this. I do think their moneyline price could be worth a sprinkle, though.

It's hard. Holmgren missed his first season, and then hasn't missed a game since — he played all 82, plus the playoffs last year, as well as all 10 so far this year, including last night.

So, we don't have a real reference point for how good this OKC team is without Holmgren other than short spurts, but not entire games.

Spread

Again, due to the Holmgren piece, I don't have a play or lean that I love on the spread. The number is -6.5 for OKC as of this writing. To no surprise, the sharp side appears to be the Clippers, and justifiably so.

I'll note that the Clippers are 3-0 against the spread on the road, covering (and beating) Denver, Golden State and Sacramento, so they seem like the logical play, but it's the NBA and OKC without Holmgren might still be a wagon. But there's volatility that comes with the OKC side.

Over/Under

Given the Holmgren piece, the over / under is also going to be difficult to project.

Basketball logic would entail that the Thunder, who already play at the fifth-fastest pace in the league, may push harder in terms of pure speed and circumvent their lack of size given that Holmgren is out — as well as Jaylin Williams and Kendrich Williams.

But it might not matter. The Clippers rank 28th in pace and both teams are top-5 in defense.

Pick: Jalen Williams Over 25.5 Points + Rebounds

Clippers vs. Thunder Preview

There are two props I like in this game. One is Jalen Williams over 25.5 points + rebounds. Even with Holmgren, he's usually threatening to clear this number, and he has done so in five of his last 10. But now, he has a better pathway to getting this mark in the absence of Holmgren.

I also like Ivica Zubac over 28.5 points + rebounds, and so does my fellow colleague Matt Moore, who notes that Zubac is averaging more than this number on the season, and has cleared it in five of his last 10. Plus, without Holmgren down low for OKC, he could be in line for a monster game.

Clippers vs. Thunder Prediction

As previously noted, I'm not interested in either side or the total. I think Clippers moneyline could be a fun sprinkle given the resume they've had on the road.

But in the app, I have the two props — not officially betting them as a parlay — but if you did want to play them, it's +234 on FanDuel. If you want a safer floor, you can do Williams over points + rebounds and Zubac to record a double double instead, which brings you down to +158.

Best Bet: Jalen Williams Over 25.5 Points + Rebounds (-120)
Same Game Parlay: Ivica Zubac Over 28.5 PTS + REB, Jalen Williams Over 25.5 PTS + REB (+234)
