Denver Nuggets NBA Playoff Odds
How the Denver Nuggets Got Here
The Denver Nuggets have had one of the more interesting seasons in the league this year. They dominated through the ridiculous 'NBA Jam-esque' production of the star duo of point center Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray.
Michael Porter Jr. has also had an incredible season. The second-year forward is scoring well over 18-plus points per game and has been especially impressive since Murray went down with a torn ACL (he has since had surgery on his left knee).
The Nuggets haven't been impressive against the spread (ATS) this season. They have essentially performed as well on the road as they have at Ball Arena. Having Jokic playing at an MVP level will make this team an interesting play in the first round of the postseason.
Austin Rivers and Facundo Campazzo are going to be expected to provide a nice mixture of scoring and playmaking in the playoffs.
Denver has been dealing with injury concerns pertaining to Will Barton (hamstring) and PJ Dozier (groin).
Barton is a big-time scorer and Dozier's ridiculous 6-foot-11 wingspan helps him function as one of Denver's more intriguing perimeter defenders. The health of these two players will be the main thing for NBA bettors to monitor down the stretch, as they change the ceiling of the Nuggets' bench unit.
