Drake is known for being much better at making music than picking sports teams.
The music megastar has recently dove into the iGaming and sports betting space due to his partnership with Stake, a sports wagering, iGaming and crypto platform in Canada.
Of course, Drake was gambling beforehand, but he's definitely stepped his game up over the last couple of months.
First, he raked in about $170K in profit while betting on the Super Bowl with bets that included the Rams moneyline and Odell Beckham Jr. to score a touchdown.
Then he took some of those winnings and placed $275,000 (in bitcoin value in USD at the time) on Jorge Masvidal to defeat Colby Covington on March 5.
Masvidal lost via unanimous decision. That caused Drake to dip into the red on the year on his large, publicized wagers.

A few weeks later, Drake got some action on the biggest Final Four game of the century in Duke vs. North Carolina. Most people weren't surprised that Drake took Duke, a roughly -192 favorite.
Drake placed a roughly $80K wager USD ($100K Canadian) on the Blue Devils to win. That was also an L.

The music star tried to get fancy with a parlay on April 25 or as he calls it, "The Lay Lay of the day."
Drake parlayed the Brooklyn Nets moneyline, Toronto Blue Jays ML and the Dallas Mavericks ML in a $400,000 Canadian bet that would return $2.2 million Canadian.
It lost on the first leg with the Nets losing to the Boston Celtics. That means he lost around $314,000 (USD).
Drake has one last savior left: the Golden State Warriors.
Drake placed a $159,000 wager ($200,000 Canadian) on the Warriors to win the Western Conference at +400. The bet would return about $800,000 ($1 million Canadian) and $636,000 in profit.
Drake added the caption, "Such a[n] unpredictable year… can I see the future?"

Then, he made a three-way parlay that crumbled after the first leg. The Nets lost Game 4 to the Celtics to boot them from the playoffs. Sadly, the other two legs of that parlay won.
With the Warriors to win the West pending, Drake picked up a win Thursday on the NFL Draft … on Drake!
Drake London, the star USC playmaker, was the first WR off the board, netting the rapper a nice payout to get the 2022 NFL Draft underway.

Drake staked his largest bet since the Super Bowl on UFC 274's headliner, placing north of $400K USD on Justin Gaethje. However, he was dropped by Charles Oliveira in the first round via submission.
To somewhat soften the blow, the rapper picked up a win on long shot Derby winner Rich Strike to show.
