  • In 2019, Matthew Freedman is writing a new series featuring his favorite prop bet for each day
  • On Tuesday, he looks at the Bucks-Heat NBA game and the fantasy points prop for Miami center Hassan Whiteside.

Each day, I publish at least one quick-n’-dirty piece highlighting a favorite prop of mine.

For more information on my research process and the resources I use, see the master list of my 2019 prop bets.

Freedman’s Favorite Fantasy Point Prop Bet for Tuesday, Jan. 15: Hassan Whiteside Over/Under 35.5 Points

The Pick: Under (-120)

This is a bonus prop for today, in addition to John Collins over/under 18.5 points.

Whiteside offers great value in the Bucks-Heat game (8:00 p.m. ET). This line is massively off. In the FantasyLabs NBA Models, we have Whiteside projected for 28.3 fantasy points (FanDuel scoring).

In his past 10 games, he's exceeded 35.5 points just twice.

At 35.5, I’d bet it to -160. At -120, I’d bet it to 32.5.
