There are five games on Friday's NBA slate that sharp and big money bettors are targeting.
The following five bets on over/unders have at least 65% of the smart money on them. Four of the five picks fade the public bettors.
So, which totals are the wise guys hammering today? Let's get right into it.
Friday NBA Sharp Action, Big Money on Totals
Odds and information as of Friday afternoon.
Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Charlotte Hornets
7 p.m. ET
Roughly 77% of the smart money is on the under here, but oddly, the line hasn't moved all that much.
That's because of the public's love for the Hornets offense, which ranks in the top five in the NBA. They simultaneously have one of the worst defenses in the league.
Still, the smart money bettors think this line was priced too high from its onset.
The best price on the market sits at 217.5.
Sharp Action, Big Money Betting Pick: Under 217.5 or better.
Brooklyn Nets vs. Utah Jazz
9 p.m. ET
The sharps love the over for this matchup at 231 on account of Donovan Mitchell's return to action. That, and the fact that defensive stalwart Rudy Gobert remains on the sidelines.
Kyrie Irving and James Harden will, of course, suit up for the matchup, but the Nets are still missing Kevin Durant.
An absolutely ridiculous 99% of the money is on the over for this matchup, according to The Action Network's tracking data.
The line has ballooned from its open at 228.5 to its current market-high of 232. The public is rocking with the sharp bettors for this one, ironically — but, hey, the retail bettors love their overs.
Sharp Angle: Over 231 or better.
Chicago Bulls vs. Indiana Pacers
7 p.m. ET
The wise guys thought the opening total for this matchup was too high. So, they bet it heavily.
An absurd 99% of the money is on the under for this matchup. The opening total of 232.5 has been driven down to a market-low of 229. You can still get this line at around 230.5 at some books.
This line is fading the public.
Sharp Angle: Under 230.5 or better.
Philadelphia 76ers vs. Dallas Mavericks
10 p.m. ET
Smart money is putting about 75% of the money on the under for this matchup. This pick is also fading the public, as about 56% of retail bettors are on the over.
The price opened at 212.5 and has reached as low as 210. You can still nab 212 at some sportsbooks.
Sharp Angle: Under 212 or better.
Houston Rockets vs. San Antonio Spurs
8:30 p.m. ET
The public initially drove this down from its open at 239 to a market-low of 235.5. That's when sharps began to hammer the over, determining that the line had dropped too low.
About 65% of the smart money is on the over now. That's fading the public, which had tanked this line from open.
Sharp Angle: Over 235.5 or better.
