The moneyline for this spot is -185 on the Clippers side, but since the spread is still only -4.5 and before the bulk of NBA key numbers of 5-9, then I would rather just play this against the spread at -108.
The Grizzlies are also playing with the fastest pace in the league, and the very high total in this game suggest the score differential could be wider than a normal slow grind of a Clippers game. If the lead stretches, I expect it to be the Clippers taking control.
Over/Under
The total for this game is priced at 237.5! My inclination is to bet the under, with the understanding that Memphis is coming off a game where they played fast but still went 10 points under the total, now go on a B2B, possibly rest players and get the total to drop.
On the other end, even a solid Clippers output is a slower pace. So there is asymmetric injury risk heading into All-Star Weekend that the Grizzlies deem some players inactive for the second leg of a road back to back, and thus the total would drop (and the spread lengthen).
