The Memphis Grizzlies (7-4) visit the Los Angeles Lakers (6-4) in the NBA this Wednesday, which is set to tip off at 10 p.m. ET from Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. The game will broadcast live on ESPN.

The Lakers are 6.5-point favorites over the Grizzlies on the spread (Lakers -6.5), with the total currently at 230.5 points. The Lakers are -245 favorites on the moneyline to win outright, while Memphis is +200 to pull off the upset.

Let's dive into my Grizzlies vs. Lakers predictions and my NBA picks for Wednesday, November 13.

Grizzlies vs. Lakers Prediction, Picks

Moneyline

The Lakers moneyline is in that -245 range, so other than as a parlay leg, it's not worth taking if you want to back L.A. But, of course, if you like a Memphis Grizzlies upset, you can fire away.

Spread

The Lakers are the only team in the NBA to be undefeated against the spread at home this season — a perfect 5-0. Memphis is just 2-3 ATS on the road.

Over/Under

Memphis has hit seven overs in 11 games this season. The Grizzlies have gone over in three of five road contests, whereas the Lakers have gone under in three of four home contests and have split between five overs and five unders in their 10 games.

Pick: Anthony Davis over 27.5 points

Grizzlies vs. Lakers Preview

From a betting perspective, I'm most intrigued by Anthony Davis on this contest. I took him over 27.5 points on BetMGM given his recent tear, which doesn't look to be slowing down. This season, AD has gone over 27.5 points in seven of nine games, and I had him going over last week in Memphis before he was ruled inactive a few hours before tip-off.

I want back in. Davis is probable to play and is on two days rest. This season, he has scored 35 and 37 following two days rest — another 36 points if you want to throw in the opener, because technically, you wouldn't be wrong.

And in starts against Jaren Jackson Jr., AD has gotten 28 or more in three of their last four regular season clashes, as well as two more in the 2023 playoffs, where the Lakers beat Memphis in six.

Grizzlies vs. Lakers Prediction

Ja Morant, Desmond Bane, Vince Williams Jr. and GG Jackson are all out, and Marcus Smart has been upgraded to questionable, giving him a shot to play. The Lakers aren't expected to be missing anyone significant barring a late scratch. D'Angelo Russell, like Davis, is probable to play.

I do think the Lakers win this game, but covering? I'm not certain. Our PRO systems like Memphis to cover, which has also been the sharp side this morning despite the Lakers being 5-0 ATS.

The safer way to parlay Davis' scoring is just to tag on the Lakers moneyline, which makes the SGP +140 at DraftKings. If you do like L.A. to cover against a fairly depleted Memphis squad, plus AD's point total, that's +250 on DraftKings. Or, you could just ride with AD.

Best Bet: Anthony Davis Over 27.5 points
Same Game Parlay Option: Anthony Davis Over 27.5 points + Lakers Moneyline (+140 at DraftKings)
