Grizzlies vs. Pistons Preview

The Memphis Grizzlies and Detroit Pistons will meet from the Motor City on Saturday Night. Memphis has averaged 121.8 points per game, while the Pistons have averaged 115.4 points per game. Memphis comes into the contest with a record of 45-32, placing it eighth in the Western Conference. The Grizzlies are tied with the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Los Angeles Clippers for the
sixth-best record in the West. Memphis will treat every game like a playoff game the rest of the way.

Head coach Taylor Jenkins was surprisingly fired last week, with Tuomas Iisalo taking over as the team's interim head coach. The Grizzlies have struggled lately, losing seven of their last 10 games. Ja Morant leads the Grizzlies with 22.9 points and 7.3 assists per game. Jaren Jackson Jr has enjoyed a strong season with 22.3 points and 5.7 rebounds. Desmond Bane has added 18.7 points and 5.4 assists per game.

Detroit begins the contest with a record of 43-34, having already clinched a playoff berth. It'll be only the third time the Pistons have reached the postseason, the last time the Pistons coming in 2019. After going 14-68 last season, Detroit has been one of the most improved teams in the NBA.

Former first-overall pick Cade Cunningham leads the team with 25.7 points and 9.2 assists per game. Jaden Ivey has enjoyed the best year of his career, with 17.6 points and 4.0 assists per game. Malik Beasley has added 16.3 points per game and 1.7 assists.

Best Bet: Grizzlies ML (-150)

Grizzlies vs. Pistons Betting Predictions

Grizzlies Moneyline

We will trust the line and the road team tonight. Memphis is the more desperate team and will deliver a strong effort on the road. The Grizzlies are 38-13 SU as a favorite.

Cade Cunningham Over 24.5 Points

We'll also back Cade Cunningham, who has been red-hot lately. The former Oklahoma standout averaged 27.3 points per game in March. Cunningham has exceeded 24.5 points in eight of his last ten games. Our Action Pro Report Projects 27.4 points.

Santi Aldama 12+ Points

Lookout for Santi Aldama. The former Loyola-Maryland Sharpshooter is in a strong position to exceed 12+ points tonight. He has averaged 12.8 points per game this season and will see enough volume to exceed this prop.
