This article contains predictions for an old game.

The Memphis Grizzlies (6-4) visit the Portland Trail Blazers (3-7) in the NBA this Sunday, which is set to tip off at 9:00 p.m. from the Moda Center in Portland. The game will be broadcast on NBA League Pass.

The Grizzlies are 1-point road favorites over the Blazers on the spread (Grizzlies -1), with the over/under currently at 227.5 points. The Grizzlies are -115 favorites on the moneyline to win outright, while Portland is -105 to pull off the upset.

Let's dive into my Grizzlies vs. Trail Blazers predictions and my NBA picks for Sunday, November 10.

Grizzlies vs. Trail Blazers Picks, Predictions

Moneyline

I lean slightly toward Memphis, who is in a double-revenge spot after losing back-to-back head-to-head meetings in this series. However, the Grizzlies' lengthy injury report is problematic enough to keep me off the moneyline as an official play.

Spread

After considering the Grizzlies' revenge spot, Portland's 8-2 record against the spread (ATS) in the last 10 meetings was also enough to keep me from backing the visitors.

Over/Under

This total opened at 224.5 before being bet up to 225.5. While I agree with the move, my model's projection of 226.5 isn't enough of an edge to sanction a play on the over.

Same Game Parlay: Scotty Pippen Jr. Under 14.5 Points, Jerami Grant Over 1.5 3PM (+228)

Grizzlies vs. Trail Blazers Preview

The short-handed Grizzlies head west for a three-game road trip, beginning with a stop in Portland to take on the Trail Blazers. Despite being two games above .500 with a 6-4 mark, this season has been somewhat of a mixed bag for the Grizzlies. After all, three of their four losses occurred as favorites in those games.

Therefore, bettors have every right to be cautious about this team thus far. Then, when you look at their injury report, there's even more reason to remain skeptical.

Ja Morant is the third Grizzlies starter set to miss some time after being hit mid-air and landing on his hip while trying to catch a lob pass against the Lakers. On Saturday night, Memphis announced Morant suffered a partial hip dislocation in addition to Grade 1 muscle strains in his pelvic area.

Morant's status is now week-to-week, along with teammates Desmond Bane (oblique) and Marcus Smart (sprain). Last season, the trio combined to miss 175 games, leading to a 13th-place finish in the West and a 27-55 record. As a result, the bottom can quickly drop out for the Grizzlies if they're not careful.

While the Trail Blazers might look like a team that the Grizzlies should handle, Memphis is just 4-6 straight up in the last 10 meetings. For the past three seasons, the Trail Blazers finished no higher than 13th in the conference while continuing to pick at the top of the draft board.

Portland and Oklahoma City have the two youngest rosters in the league, with an average age of 24.2 years, yet OKC was recently the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference playoffs and is off to an 8-1 start in this campaign.

At 3-7, the Trail Blazers don't look any closer to turning things around, but they've been better against the spread, posting a 5-4-1 mark. Even last season, when Portland finished with the worst conference record (21-61), it went 39-41-2 ATS.

When you put it all together, there's no question that the Trail Blazers are live underdogs in this coin-flip game.

Grizzlies vs. Trail Blazers Prediction

After passing on the side and total for this game, I found better options in the player props market. One strategy I often use, is to identify overvalued players by looking at their average and median numbers. Scotty Pippen Jr. is one player that falls into that category, averaging 11.6 points this season with a median of 12.5.

His playing time is relatively stable, between 25 and 27 minutes, even while the Grizzlies were missing players. Yet, his scoring prop is 14.5, and he has only exceeded this number once this season. Unless we see a massive spike in Pippen's minutes, there's a ton of value in him staying under his projection.

Another prop worth considering is Jerami Grant over 1.5 made 3-pointers. After shooting 40% from the perimeter in each of his last two seasons, Grant is now averaging 7.3 3-pointers, an increase of at least 1.5 per game dating back to the previous four years.

He's hit at least two 3-pointers in eight of his 10 games this season and covered this number 57% of the time in the previous campaign. Memphis is allowing the league's second-most 3-point attempts (41.8), which should bode well for Grant in this spot.

Same Game Parlay: Scotty Pippen Jr. Under 14.5 Points, Jerami Grant Over 1.5 Made 3-pointers (+228)
