The 2023 NBA MVP will return to the floor on Wednesday night in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals between the 76ers and Celtics.

And naturally, the most important player for either team returning to action so suddenly changed the marketplace precipitously.

At BetMGM, the 76ers were as long as +400 on the moneyline to get it done in Game 2 — roughly the same price that they toted in Game 1, when they upset the Celtics after a dagger, game-winning James Harden three-pointer with seconds to go.

That line has since dropped to +275 as of publish. The difference between those lines is roughly 6.7% in probability.

In a corresponding move, the spread has moved down from +10.5 to +7.5.

Hint: we're still bullish on his prospects tonight in two specific marketplaces.
