The New York Knicks have some work to do if they want to make the playoffs in back-to-back seasons.

If you still believe in the Knicks, there's no better time to bet on them. And if you're a New York resident, it just became legal to do so.

New York sports betting goes live on Jan. 8. Four sportsbooks will be immediately available to place wagers: FanDuel, DraftKings, Caesars and BetRivers.

Be sure to set up an account on as many as possible in order to shop for the best odds.

Let's get into some of the current odds on the Knicks.

New York Knicks NBA Finals Odds

If you are going to take a flyer on the Knicks to win the NBA Finals, DraftKings is the spot to place it. They're offering 150-1 odds whereas the next closest is FanDuel at 120-1.

The favorite to win the title at the moment is the Brooklyn Nets (+250) followed by the Warriors, Suns and Bucks who fall between +500 and +1000 depending on where you shop.

New York Knicks Eastern Conference Odds

There's not as much variance with the Eastern Conference odds from book to book. Obviously, the best places to take the Knicks will be DraftKings and Caesars.

The Nets are the heavy favorites to win the East with the Bucks and Heat right on their tail.

Other New York Knicks Team Futures

If you believe the Knicks still have a chance to win the Atlantic Division, their odds are 150-1 on DraftKings. The other three books also offer Atlantic Division odds but not at a price better than 150-1.

DraftKings also offers other various future bets including total wins where the line for the Knicks is at 37.5. Knicks to make the playoffs is +450. And you can also bet on the finishing seed which is currently set at 11.5 as they sit 11th in the Eastern Conference.

Knicks in the running for individual awards are all longshots.
