Here's everything you need to know about Pacers vs. Knicks on Tuesday, May 14 — our expert prediction and betting picks for today's game.

This series appears to be turning. Ultimately, Knicks vs. Pacers is a best of three now, and going in, the injury report is one of the general points of emphasis.

Let's get into our Game 5 best bet and Pacers vs. Knicks pick.

Indiana Pacers

The Pacers have led at halftime in every game of this series. We'll start there.

The Pacers have the pathway to dictate terms going forward.

While I picked the Knicks to win this series, ultimately favoring their defense winning out, the Pacers present a stylistic issue. They push pace. They played faster than all but one team in the regular season, and the Knicks were dead last in pace.

The Knicks now, heavily short-handed, are in a boxing match with swelling on their left eye, and the Pacers' job is to repeatedly land right hooks and crosses until they break.

The Pacers are 5-5 against the spread and have gone over in six of 10 playoff games.

New York Knicks

The Knicks are going to be without all of the following in Game 5: Julius Randle, OG Anunoby, Bojan Bogdanović and Mitchell Robinson, most notably.

In Game 4, they were pile driven up and down Gainbridge Fieldhouse to the tune of a 121-89 ass whooping.

I don't think that's going to happen again, but it's noteworthy.

Jalen Brunson was as high as 37.5 points on the over/under front earlier in this series, but outside of a 43-point explosion in Game 1, he hasn't cracked 30 since.

In fact, he's shooting 16 of his last 43 overall and two for his last 11 from 3, with just 44 points in his last two games.

You'll expect a bounce-back at some point, but the "Jalen Brunson Do Everything" offense is showing it's warts. Unless he's superhuman, the Knicks have no shot, and their roster is hanging on by a Tom Thibodeau half-hair.

Betting Pick & Prediction

Going back to the very first thing I said about the Pacers — they have won every first half this series.

Maybe that doesn't continue, but given the state of the Knicks, there isn't a compelling reason why they shouldn't.

I don't know who wins the game. The Knicks are the sharp side, according to Action Pro, but I like the Pacers to get off to a good start, again speeding up New York and mounting early momentum.

Pick: Pacers 1H Moneyline (+115 via Caesars)
