Betting on props can be one of the easiest ways to build your bankroll. Sportsbooks tend to offer lower limits and take less action on props than they do on games, so they don’t have as much incentive to post an accurate line.
That’s where our Player Prop tool comes in handy. We compare our industry-leading NBA projections to the props posted at a variety of sportsbooks to identify the best plays each day. Each bet is then graded on a scale from 1-10, with 10 being the best possible grade.
Here's how those props did this season prior to the shut down:
FantasyLabs Grade | Win-Loss (Win Pct) |
---|---|
Bet Quality of 10 | 775-572 (57%) |
Bet Quality of 9 | 942-776 (54%) |
Bet Quality of 8 | 1432-1263 (52%) |
Today's props come from two games in the early and late evening, respectively.

- Rockets vs. Mavericks at 9:00 p.m. ET
NBA Player Prop Bets
Jaylen Brown, Boston Celtics
The Prop: Over 5.5 rebounds (FanDuel)
Jaylen Brown didn't play in the Celtics' two games against the Bucks before the shutdown. In the teams' October matchup, he was out with an illness, and in the January game he had a thumb injury.
But as a bouncy wing, Brown will be paramount in helping keep Giannis Antetokounmpo off the glass. Antetokounmpo is ranked third in the NBA in rebounding, averaging 13.7 rebounds per game.
Brown is grabbing a career-high 6.4 rebounds per game this season, ranking fifth on the Celtics. The Celtics are the No. 9 rebounding team in the league, with Milwaukee being No. 1.
Brown should see time defending Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton because of his versatility. He'll be around the paint often with Antetokounmpo, one of the NBA's most physically imposing players. Though Antetokounmpo is a great rebounder, it's important to take heed of Brown's quality athleticism. I'll take the over here and would bet to 6.

Tim Hardaway Jr., Dallas Mavericks
The Prop: Over 16.5 points (FanDuel)
Most of Tim Hardaway Jr.'s value comes from making spot-up 3-pointers. Hardaway is shooting 43.2% on catch-and-shoot threes, per NBA.com stats.
A wing out of Michigan, Hardaway had one of his best all-around performances this season against the Houston Rockets. In Dallas' November win against Houston, he scored 31 points and shot 5-for-11 from the 3-point line. He also dished out five assists and grabbed four rebounds.
The 31-point total is his third-highest of the season, and it is one of four times he's scored 30-plus in the campaign. It was also one of 12 times this season he's made five or more 3-pointers in a game.
Hardaway is a classic heat-check shooter, and if Luka Doncic can carve up Houston's small-ball defense Friday night, Hardaway should be open often. I would take the over here and bet to 17.5.
