The Los Angeles Clippers are among the most talented teams left in the NBA postseason. However, the No. 1 seed Utah Jazz have an excellent blend of talent and team chemistry and have shown that in racing out to 2-0 series lead.
The Clippers received a surprisingly efficient 29-point scoring effort from point guard Reggie Jackson in Game 2 but it was all for naught. Kawhi Leonard had a very average game by his standards (21 points) and on top of that, the Clippers' defense did not bring anything close to the necessary intensity.
Utah shot 55.3% from the field and 51.3% from the 3-point line on a high volume of attempts. It is clear the Clippers can't survive in this series if they can't at least disrupt Utah's game plan a little bit.
It will be interesting to see if the Clippers have anything new up their sleeves for Game 3, which is a must-win game considering how well Utah is playing (and that no NBA team has ever come back from a 3-0 deficit in a series).
Let's take a look at our latest PRO Report, which shows that sharp bettors are trusting Lue and the Clippers to keep things tight on Saturday night.
