Kings vs. Cavaliers Preview

Top seeded Cleveland will host the Kings, who are currently the last play-in team. The Kings will be looking to solidify their playoff spot with just a week left in the regular season. In tonight’s same game parlay, we will be focusing on three key players to cover their lines.

To start, we will be expecting Evan Mobley to continue to crash the glass and get 10 rebounds. In the game against the Kings in March, Mobley was outstanding, posting 31 points and 10 rebounds, in a dominant performance.

Sacramento is a great matchup for him, as the Kings really do not have a second big man to handle him. With Keegan Murray trending out tonight as well, this will only boost Mobley’s production.

We will also be looking at Darius Garland to continue to be the creator for the Cavaliers, and cover his 6.5 assist line. He has gone over the line in 4 of his last 6, and his potential assists are quite high as well. In a game where I think Cleveland will start off hot at home, I expect Garland to be active early and often. If you’re looking for an alternate play, Garland 10+ assists is intriguing.

Last but not least, I’ll be looking at Sabonis to record 6+ assists tonight. He’s averaging 6 on the season, and has also cleared this line in 4 out of his last 6. In a game where I believe it’ll be difficult for him to score on the interior, he will look to be creative and get his teammates opportunities.

The Kings will have to shoot well to stay in this game, and with the likes of LaVine and DeRozan, I think they can keep it close. Get the ball to Sabonis early, and get the shooters opportunities to hit some threes. That will be the name of the game for the Kings.

Although I do not believe the Kings will win this one, I expect it to be closer than the line indicates, which should allow the stars to shine on Sunday.
